Executive Summary

This report is one in a series on operational risk management (ORM) software vendors, and helps operations, maintenance, and engineering managers better understand developments in the operational risk software and services market. Sphera has launched a new product for the ORM market named Dynamic Risk Pathways. This complements Sphera’s comprehensive offering for operational risk management, environment, health and safety, product stewardship, and sustainability. Dynamic Risk Pathways provides a single view of major accident hazard (MAH) risks, leverages real-time data flows, and visualizes risk pathways through a bowtie model. Four categories of customers should consider working with Sphera: plant managers with an integrated risk management strategy; operations managers with plans to take their risk management to a higher level; reliability engineers engaged in de-risking front line operations; safety managers with complex EHS and risk challenges to mitigate; and operations managers looking for an intuitive risk visualization software.
