Executive Summary

For the last 15 years, the majority of large firms pursued a passive sustainability strategy which involved producing an annual report, setting long-term goals and engaging stakeholders. These strategies are no longer viable as the financial community has embraced the potential for high quality ESG data to enhance investment decisions in the short-term and long-term.

During this webinar, Verdantix CEO David Metcalfe will explain how the ESG ratings and data being sold by global financial information providers such as S&P Global and Moody’s to investors will force CEOs and CFOs to adopt active sustainability strategies. This will trigger significant changes in corporate governance, big investments in ESG information systems and the operationalization of sustainability strategies.
