Executive Summary
This report provides a fact-based benchmark of nine leading climate financial data and analytics (CFD&A) solution providers. Using the proprietary Verdantix Green Quadrant methodology, the analysis draws on structured vendor questionnaires, in-depth briefing sessions, customer evidence and desk research to evaluate vendors across nine capability and 14 momentum criteria. The study finds that although regulatory compliance is a core driver of demand, financial institutions are increasingly engaging CFD&A providers to build resilience and identify transition opportunities, while ensuring auditability and integration into their existing workflows. In response, vendors are differentiating through geospatial physical risk modelling, commodity-linked transition insights, more granular estimates of climate-driven losses, and continued investment in AI. At the same time, they are maintaining strong connectivity options and transparency. The Green Quadrant recognizes six vendors as Leaders: Bloomberg, ICE, LSEG, Moody’s, MSCI and S&P Global.Summary for decision-makers
