Executive Summary

Over the last decade, product stewardship initiatives have expanded from safety obligations to also contain circular economy, recycling and environmental footprint considerations. By some estimates, the circular economy and associated product stewardship activities could unlock up to $4.5 trillion of economic growth. This report helps corporate EHS and product stewardship executives understand the diverse stakeholders involved in product stewardship information management and how technology can be used to better manage product stewardship initiatives and programmes. New and diverse technologies can offer firms the ability to overcome the resource-intensive challenges associated with engaging product supply chains.
