Executive Summary

This report helps North American real estate landlords and investors to benchmark their technology strategies and investments over the next three years. Verdantix interviewed asset managers working for owner-operator landlords on their priorities, technology preferences, software use and budgetary plans. The survey results highlighted a strong interest in leveraging technology to simplify ESG reporting requirements and revamp tenant-facing processes to improve the occupier experience, especially as stable occupancy levels in offices are not guaranteed. Moreover, many respondents are expanding their use of flexible workplace offerings to meet evolving tenant demands and boost their portfolio’s resilience. Asset managers, investors and real estate technology providers should use this report to keep abreast of how technology will impact the real estate sector.
