Executive Summary

This report helps strategy executives, chief marketing officers and business development directors at operational risk management (ORM) software firms understand the strength of their brand, in terms of preference and brand awareness, from the perspective of 256 customers across 13 regions and 14 industries. The operations, maintenance, engineering and process safety executives we interviewed represented firms of various sizes, with 95% of them having revenues greater than $1 billion. Firms included in the survey were weighted towards industries associated with higher industrial risk. Verdantix found that Sphera and Intelex, along with RiskPoynt, led among the 21 vendors in brand preference, while Sphera, ProcessMAP and Enablon were the top three vendors for brand awareness.
