Executive Summary

This report helps strategy executives, chief marketing officers and business development directors at asset management service providers understand the strength of their brand preference and brand awareness in the eyes of corporate customers across 13 economic regions and 16 industries. Of the 259 executives across operations, maintenance, engineering and process safety roles Verdantix interviewed, 94% represented firms with revenues greater than $1 billion and 71% held role titles at the level of director or above. Verdantix found that IBM led by far among the 20 providers assessed for both brand preference and brand awareness. Infosys and DuPont Sustainable Solutions (DSS) followed in brand preference, while Capgemini and Deloitte followed in brand awareness.

Malavika leads the Verdantix Operational Excellence practice. Her current research agenda focuses on digital technologies for Operational Excellence including digital twins and software solutions for industrial risk and asset management. Malavika has over 15 years’ experience in research and strategy consulting. Malavika previously worked at Frost & Sullivan, managing and delivering advisory projects for clients involving expansion, acquisition, benchmarking and product development strategies. Malavika holds a MSc in Economics from Madras School of Economics.
