Executive Summary

This report provides a detailed, fact-based comparison of the nine most advanced digital EHS service providers across 19 unique service lines between digitally-enabled services and technology implementation. Based on the proprietary Verdantix Green Quadrant methodology, the analysis is based on a two-hour interview with executives and practice leaders at each vendor, vendor responses to a 100-point questionnaire, and data from a survey of 301 EHS decision-makers. The analysis finds that the leaders in the market continue to adopt cutting-edge technology to enhance their service offerings. Smart buyers demand EHS consultants with advanced digital abilities that keep up with their own digital agendas. The analysis of the service line capabilities and market momentum of the vendors reveals that five firms— ARCADIS, AECOM, ERM, Golder and Jacobs —currently lead the market, whilst the other vendors have strong capabilities in specific areas, such as air quality services, digital safety training, and IoT sensor implementation.
