Executive Summary

This report contains an extract of the Verdantix analysis of the sustainability reporting capabilities of 23 environment, health and safety (EHS) software vendors. This analysis originally was produced in the 2019 version of the Verdantix Green Quadrant for EHS software (see Verdantix Green Quadrant EHS Software 2019). To help senior EHS executives identify the best-fit software, this software benchmark provides a detailed analysis of capabilities available from these vendors across nine assessment criteria. This report finds that four software vendors—Enablon, Intelex, Sphera and UL—have the broadest and deepest functionality to provide EHS and sustainability data reporting management. To ensure maximum benefits, buyers should involve sustainability functional colleagues in the selection, evaluation and adoption of EHS software solutions.
