Executive Summary

This report contains an extract of the Verdantix analysis originally produced in the 2021 edition of the Verdantix Green Quadrant for environment, health and safety (EHS) software (see Verdantix Green Quadrant: EHS Software 2021). To help senior EHS executives identify the best-fit software, this benchmark provides a detailed analysis of capabilities available from assessed vendors across 99 environmental compliance and sustainability management assessment criteria. This report finds that four software vendors — Sphera, Enablon, Cority and Intelex — offer the most comprehensive functionality to facilitate environmental compliance foundations and sustainability reporting management. To ensure maximum benefits, buyers should involve sustainability functional colleagues in the selection, evaluation and adoption of EHS software solutions.
