Spending on digital initiatives to improve asset management has risen over the past five years driven mainly by factors such as CEO-led digital transformation plans, the availability of new technology and high costs of unplanned downtime. To help buyers select the best-fit APM digital service provider, this benchmark provides a detailed analysis of the digital service capability of 12 vendors across three capability areas within APM – asset reliability and integrity, maintenance optimization and plant turnaround management. The report finds that Accenture and Wipro lead the market for APM digital services. Buyers of APM digital services should shortlist consultants with industry subject matter expertise and strong partnerships to deliver complex large-scale projects.
