Executive Summary

This report forms one in a series covering the asset performance management software market, which is gaining traction as a technology category. One of the more intriguing startups offering new technology in this space is Atonix Digital. The firm was spun out from venerable 104-year-old engineering concern Black & Veatch in January 2018 to market the ASSET360 data analytics platform, which Black & Veatch launched in 2012 after building custom software for its power and water clients for more than 20 years. Atonix Digital has added more than 20 new customers of its own in just a little more than a year of operation. Power generation is Atonix Digital’s biggest strength and where most of its customers are, though it’s also targeting other industries with complex, distributed assets such as municipal water authorities, wastewater treatment plants, industrial power and processes, transmission and distribution utilities, and oil and gas.
