Executive Summary

Verdantix asked 284 operations executives for their views on the role of asset performance management (APM) software in their firms’ operational excellence initiatives, and 97% said that it was either ‘very significant’ or ‘significant’. In contrast, only 15% of those surveyed said that they were using a commercial APM software application as of the end of 2020. One of the core reasons for this disparity is the difficulty in quantifying the benefits of strong APM performance. To help fix this funding gap, Verdantix has created a step-by-step toolkit to build a financial business case for APM software. The Total System Value assessment covers a wide range of business benefits as well as offering best practice advice on how to position projects for success in your firm’s capital requisition process. Attendees of this webinar will walk away with a thorough understanding of how to shape the financial business case for APM software in a way that engages the C-suite.
