Executive Summary

This report provides a detailed, fact-based comparison of 11 product compliance software providers. Based on the proprietary Verdantix Green Quadrant methodology, our analysis comprised one-and-a-half-hour live product demonstrations with pre-set scenarios, customer interviews, desk research and vendor responses to a detailed 119-point questionnaire, covering 11 capability and 12 momentum categories. Although this is a heavily commoditized market, Verdantix research finds that commercial solutions are evolving to support the convergence of sustainability, safety and product compliance, via the integration of AI, deeper regulatory coverage and new capabilities for specific end-user verticals. These developments allow users to quickly query suppliers, determine compliance and enforce relevant safety precautions. The Green Quadrant analysis recognizes six vendors as Leaders: 3E, Assent, Benchmark Gensuite, SAP, Sphera and UL Solutions.
