Executive Summary

As of late, EH&S management has undergone an overhaul. Between new management techniques, improvements in equipment and training, and more sophisticated uses of EH&S software, EH&S managers and executives are finding new methods and avenues to advance performance in employee and environmental health and safety. In other words, EH&S management systems are more mature now than they have ever been before. So how do firms keep getting closer to the goal of a perfect safety and/or environmental record? DuPont Sustainable Solutions (DSS), a business unit of DuPont that focuses on helping clients improve safety and operational performance, is bringing an operational risk management (ORM) approach to the table that seeks to solve this problem.
