Executive Summary

The Verdantix Global Energy Leaders Survey 2015: Data Tables provides a global benchmark of energy management priorities, budgets and governance based on interviews with 285 heads of energy in firms with revenues of at least $250 million. The respondents represent 21 sectors and are located in 24 countries. This global energy survey provides hard data against which energy leaders can benchmark their spending plans and priorities for 2016. The data set also provides unique insights into governance and spending patterns for firms supplying products and services such as consulting, technology services, equipment and software.

The file contains data collected through the Verdantix Global Energy Leaders Survey 2015 with 285 energy decision-makers and buyers segmented by region and industry. Verdantix clients should use this data with the report “Global Energy Leaders Survey 2015 Budgets And Priorities” for context and to understand the scope of the study.

The 285 interviews were conducted by telephone. For quality control, we carefully screened all respondents and ensured we only spoke to individuals directly involved in decisions that relate to energy efficiency or the purchase of energy management equipment.
